When you sign up for Neobux, you begin as a standard member. After being a member for 15 days and making 100 clicks, you have the option to upgrade to different membership levels. This page will break down the drawbacks and benefits of different membership levels. At the bottom of this page is a chart summarizing the differences between levels.
As a standard member, you are limited to renting 300 referrals. You can only buy a rental package once a week. Your maximum rental package for that week is 100 referrals. You can have up to 30 direct referrals (people you helped sign up, not rented.) See the note at the bottom about direct referrals allowed. There is a chart on the “Referrals – Basics” page that details the amount you earn per click based on your membership level.
After being a member for 15 days and clicking at least 100 ads, you have the option to upgrade to a golden membership. The membership costs $90, or 30,000 Neopoints. You are now allowed 2,000 rented referrals and 200 direct referrals. You can also rent up to 100 referrals each rental cycle (1 week). Here is one major drawback of upgrading your membership that you need to be aware of before upgrading: You have a limited window to rent new referrals. You can pick two time slots per day to rent. There are a limited number of rentals given each hour, so you will need to be clicking as soon as the time slot opens to ensure you get referrals. Many members complain that they are never able to rent referrals after upgrading. There are methods that will make this easier, such as picking non-peak hours, but be aware. Depending on how dedicated you are to Neobux, you may be better off sticking with a standard membership.
After you upgrade to golden, there are a variety of additional membership packs you can purchase. Details on the differences in each pack are listed in the chart below. Some details on the rows:
* Vacation mode: If you will be unable to click on certain days, you can mark them as vacation days. If they are marked, you will not lose your referral clicks for that day, as generally you will lose referral clicks if you do not click yourself. If one of your referrals is on vacation, they will not be auto-recycled for not clicking.
* Rental queue: As mentioned above, once you upgrade you will only have certain windows to rent referrals, and if referrals get sold out during your window, you will have to wait until your next time slot. A referral queue allows you to reserve referrals, at an additional cost. When your time slot opens up, you will automatically get the number of referrals you reserved, instead of needing to be at your computer frantically clicking.
* Note about direct referrals:
After you’ve been registered for 30 days, your allowed number of direct referrals will increase. It will basically go up one referral every four days. The model is to take the days you’ve been registered (minus the initial 30) and divide it by 4, added to the basic number of direct referrals allowed. So, if you’re a standard member (30 direct referrals allowed to start) and you’ve been a member for 130 days, your days registered minus initial 30 days is 100. Divide that by 4 (=25) and add the initial 30 freebies, and you are allowed 55 direct referrals.
